Veneer Slope Stability

ABG applies bespoke drainage geocomposites, with or without a geogrid, for veneer stability applications on slopes next to highways, railways and large earthworks schemes (including landfills) to restore a sustainable and aesthetic green surface. The drainage geocomposites used in the veneer stability assessments are easy to install and virtually impermeable – eliminating the need for an expensive combination of geomembranes, GCL and granular drainage layers and providing a reduced carbon footprint in the process.

    Cover Soil Properties

See below for definitions of symbols

Φ’peak = Peak angle of internal friction [°]

    c’peak = Peak cohesion [kN/m2]

γb = Bulk unit weight of cover soil [kN/m3]

γsat = Saturated unit weight of cover soil [kN/m3]
