Alphaline HD geomembranes are manufactured from high quality virgin HDPE (high density polyethylene) in a quality controlled environment allowing a quality assurance certificate to be provided for each roll, guaranteeing the properties and performance. The HDPE used in Alphaline geomembranes provides the greatest chemical resistance of all polyethylene membranes and is the “workhorse” of containment applications.
Alphaline LLDPE geomembranes are produced from high quality virgin LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene) also in a quality controlled environment and again allowing a quality assurance certificate to be provided. LLDPE geomembranes offer greater flexibility than HDPE geomembranes and is widely used where movement is expected, for example in landfill capping. Finesse Alphaline LLDPE is a smooth geomembrane.
