National Trust and English Heritage properties across the UK attract millions of visitors each year. A sustainable solution for their car parks is important to minimise damage to the environment and grounds. The increased surface water run-off caused by hard landscaped car park surfaces such as asphalt and concrete means that a drainage system needs to be installed to manage stormwater.
